Blackmore Court is situated 100 Meters off the main street at Sullivan’s Quay, just across the river Lee from the South Mall which is Cork Cities business district.

The complex is in a quiet residential street only 300 Meters from one of the main Police Stations in the City. We have been renting properties in this area for over 20 years and have not had a security issue, as a result we would have a very high percentage of female clientele.

Each student has a main door electronic fob, an apartment door, and a bedroom door key. We use keys not key cards to overcome any problems that may arise outside of business hours.

Colour Security Cameras are in operation both inside and outside of the complex which is linked to a computer hard drive storage system and can be viewed from off site by managment.

Security lighting is in place in and around all access points to the complex.

Smoke alarms, Heat sensors, Emergency lighting, and Fire doors are fitted as standard in all apartments and public areas. Please note that their is a 250 Euro charge for any accidental setting of of the fire alarm. This is to cover the call out charge to reset the fire vents in the roof which will automatically open once the fire alarm is activated.

Please note that any resident behaving in a treathning manner to another resident or staff member will be removed from the property.

Any resident under the infulance of drink or drugs will be removed from or denied entry into the property.

Any resident in the vicinity where a controlled substance is used, displayed, stored or supplied will be removed from the property.

Insurance

The operator is exonerated from all liability for any loss of valuables or personal belongings kept on the complex or in their apartment.

Personal insurance is advised for any valuables, if they are not covered on their travel insurance policy.
